Becoming a member is a great way to support the Garden’s mission to cultivate, educate, and celebrate while receiving amazing benefits and year-round access to the Garden. Memberships to the Garden make wonderful gifts for Treasure Valley community members (and are tax-deductible!).

    • Create an online account

      • An online account ensures that you receive your membership discounts on Garden classes, camps, and events. To create an online account, click on “Join” and “Membership” on the Garden’s website homepage. Then, when you click on “Become a member” a checkout screen will appear. In the top right-hand corner, click the button that says, “Create account”. It will require you to enter the email address you use with your membership and that you create a password for future login.

     

    • Mail time

      • Memberships are mailed on a weekly basis. You should receive your membership packet within 10 business days.

     

    • Visiting the Garden before you receive your membership cards

      • You can visit the Garden if you are still waiting to receive your membership cards. Just chat with our kiosk staff at the entrance and they can look you up in our database.

  • Memberships make great gifts that last year-round! You can purchase a membership online or by giving us a call.

    • Do you send the membership to the gifter or giftee?
      Up to you! You can make that selection at checkout. 

    • Do you offer flexible start dates for gift memberships?
      We do not. Memberships are active for one year from the time of purchase.

    • About receiving a gift membership:
      If you received a gift membership, you will need to create an online account in order to receive discounts on Garden classes, camps, and events. Please look at “I just purchased my membership” for complete instructions.

    • How does the giftee receive notice that they now have a membership?
      They will receive their membership cards in the mail within 10 business days.

    • Do giftees receive an email notification that they now have a membership?
      No, they do not. The purchaser of the membership will receive an emailed receipt. However, the Garden does send email updates regularly, so the giftee may receive a general email from the Garden before they receive their membership cards.

  • Yes! When you enroll in membership, select the auto-renewal option. You will be emailed a month before your membership is set to auto-renew. Additionally, you can always call us to set up your account for auto-renewal.

  • Yes. We offer a $10 discount on all membership levels to seniors 65+ and students.

    Look for the discount code at checkout to receive one of these discounts.

  • First of all - yay! Please call us at (208)-343-8649 and someone can assist you through the process to upgrade your membership.

  • All Garden members receive:

    • Free general admission year-round

    • Pre-sale discounts on all of our signature events

    • Reciprocal benefits at 345 botanical gardens across the country

    • Discounts on education classes, camps, and events

    • Pre-sale and discounted tickets to Outlaw Field Concerts

  • You can log in into the membership portal to review your membership expiration. Or, call or email us and we can check for you.

  • No, membership cards have your individual or household name on them and are intended for your own use. If your membership level is eligible for guest admission, we ask that you attend with your guests or purchase/provide them with an admission voucher so that they may attend on their own.

  • To receive your membership discount online, you must have registered your online account and be signed in with the email address associated with your membership. The membership discount won’t appear until checkout.

    Please call or email us if you are unable to receive your discount after signing into your account.

  • While the Garden doesn’t offer a specific family membership, the Garden Enthusiast membership is the most popular membership for families. It covers two primary members and 3 guests for free general admission to the Garden year-round.

  • Membership payments may qualify for the Idaho Education Tax Credit for donations to educational entities.

    Please consult your tax advisor for complete details.

Membership at Idaho Botanical Garden

Members are critical to the success of the Garden’s mission to connect people, plants, and nature. Funds received from the membership program not only help the Garden grow but also serve as an investment in the Treasure Valley community. Because of member support, we can be our region’s preferred space to gather, experience nature, and advocate for environmental stewardship.

Our new membership portal is finally here! 

With this portal you can easily access your digital membership cards, Member ID, review your order history with us, and update your account contact information.

                                   

To get started all you need to do is use your email address to log in and we'll send a verification code to your inbox. If you're having trouble logging in or if your email address needs to be updated, give us a shout at 208-343-8649 or email us at info@idahobotanicalgarden.org and one of our friendly staff members will be happy to help.

  • No. The membership portal is for viewing digital membership cards, updating contact 

    information, and reviewing purchase history with the Garden.

  • Yes. The Garden will continue to send physical membership cards for the time being.
